Acceptance

By using German B1 Exam Trainer ("the service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use this service. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Service description

The service provides exam preparation for Goethe B1 and TELC B1 exams across four areas: Lesen (reading), Hören (listening), Schreiben (writing), and Sprechen (speaking). A free tier allows limited use; full access is sold as one-time passes valid for a fixed number of days, at the prices (including VAT) shown on the pricing page. The service is operated by Zeronext.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information. You may not share your account or use it in a way that violates these terms or applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for any illegal purpose or to abuse, disrupt, or overload our systems. You may not scrape, automate access, or reverse-engineer the service except where we explicitly allow it. Use of the AI-powered features must be for your own learning; do not misuse them in a way that could harm others or the service.

Payments and right of withdrawal

Full access is sold as one-time passes via Stripe. You pay once for a fixed number of days of access; passes do not auto-renew, and we will never charge you again unless you make a new purchase. Current pass durations and prices, all including VAT, are shown on the pricing page. Payment is subject to Stripe's terms.

Your pass starts immediately after payment. During checkout you expressly request that we begin providing the service right away, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access has been granted. If and to the extent that the law nonetheless gives you a right of withdrawal and you exercise it within 14 days of purchase, you owe a proportionate amount for the part of the pass period that has already elapsed. Beyond that, we do not refund unused pass time unless required by law. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding pass is revoked.

Passes, expiry and legacy subscriptions

Each pass gives full access for the number of days stated at purchase, starting immediately. When your pass ends, access simply expires: there is nothing to cancel, no notice is given or required, and no further charges are made. Your account and progress remain, and you can keep using the free tier or buy a new pass at any time. If you buy a pass while another is still active, the new duration is added to your remaining time.

Pass Assurance includes a one-time extension. If you do not pass your exam, you can activate one extra 180-day access period yourself from your profile, provided that during your Pass Assurance period you completed at least one full mock exam or at least 20 different exercises, and that you activate the extension within 60 days after the pass ends. The extension can be used once per Pass Assurance pass and is not transferable.

Legacy subscriptions: before June 2026 we sold recurring Pro subscriptions. If you still have one, it continues under the terms that applied when you subscribed. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe billing portal or the Cancel subscription flow on your profile; after cancelling, you keep access until the end of the paid period and no further charges are made. New subscriptions are no longer offered.

Intellectual property

The service, its content, and the platform are owned by Zeronext or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service for your personal exam preparation in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content or technology without permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that using the service will result in passing any exam. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may stop using the service at any time; passes end automatically when they expire, and cancelling a legacy subscription ends future charges as described in Passes, expiry and legacy subscriptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service. The current version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance unless we notify you otherwise (e.g. for material changes).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the service, contact us at [email protected] and we will try to resolve it with you. If we cannot resolve it together, disputes are handled as described under Governing law. As an EU consumer you may also be able to turn to a recognised alternative dispute resolution body in your country; we are not committed to and not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution, but may do so voluntarily.
